Sand Lake Historical Society: The Sand Lake Historical Society is located in Sand Lake, and meetings are held monthly at the Sand Lake Town Hall. A reference library is located at the Sand Lake Town Library. Mr. Bob Moore, the Sand Lake town historian, provided me with many materials and resources and was a great help to me throughout this project.
Burden Lake Country Club: Originally the nine hole golf course affiliated with Totem Lodge, Burden Lake Country Club continues to thrive independently and is currently open for play. The course has been expanded to eighteen holes, and its scenic location makes for a serene golfing experience.
